Day 1

 

Arrival at Lisbon. Private transfer to the Hotel & check in for a 03 nights stay. Lisbon is a fantastic city to visit. It is the capital and the largest city in Portugal. Known as the city of seven hills located on the Tagus River mouth on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Whenever you decide to visit Lisbon, you can be sure you will not be disappointed. This cosmopolitan city perfectly blends the history of various cultural influences with modern lifestyle. Let it surprise you with the magnificent landscapes that show the harmony between the nature and the architecture, from the 14th century castle to trendiest buildings and places in entire Lisbon, including unique Estoril and Sintra heritage. Feel the climate of traditional Lisbon listening to “Fado music” in one of fado houses in Bairro Alto or Alfama neighborhoods. This specific kind of music, very characteristic for all the country, has its origins in Lisbon and is considered by UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Today you can have a short rest after arriving at the hotel , then meet your local tour guide with whom you will have a short walking tour around the hotel getting familar with the surroundings.

Day 2

Have a delightful breakfast at the hotel in Lisbon atmosphere and then get ready for an amazing half-a-day city tour of Lisbon.  We unveil the history and traditions of Lisbon on this visit to the monuments that pay tribute to the golden era of Portuguese Discoveries, the most traditional quarters and the city’s most emblematic museum.

Major Sights: Jerónimos’ Monastery*, Tower of Belem, Monument to the Discoveries, Coach Museum*, Alfama and Rossio. 

Later in the evening, get ready for one of the magnificant sunset in your life time on board a boat on Tagus River. 

Day 3

Bom Apetite Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel with Portuguese hospitality, then meet and greet your tour guide and discover the secrets of Sintra and Cascais on a full day tour. Sintra is a beautiful town at the foot of the mountain range of the same name. Explore Pena Palace and feel the Portuguese monarchy style of living and ruling. Lunch on your own.

Then head to the scenic and coastal village of Cascais with seducing beaches and experience the lovely weird and tranquil vibe of this memorable village.

 

Day 4

Check-out from your hotel. Meet your tour guide and get ready for a journey from Lisbon to Porto. On the way to Porto, you will also get a chance to see the Venice of Portugal, Aveiro, a beautiful charming small city near Porto. Check-in at the hotel and have your accommodation for 3 nights on bed and breakfast basis in Porto. Time to discover the 2nd largest city in Portugal located by the Douro River. It is known as “Cidade Invicta” - the city was never conquered. Its historical center, never touched by invaders, is registered as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. The historical value of the Old Cathedral, the Church of St. Francis and the Torre dos Clérigos combine with the contemporary buildings as the Serralves Museum and the House of Music (Casa da Música), revealing the unique climate of the city. The riverbanks – Ribeira and Gaia, connected by the Luis I bridge, present the most known picture of Porto. Those are the best places to taste the city. Visit famous wine cellars in Gaia and enjoy a glass of Port wine at the end of your wine tour. Or sit in one of restaurants in Ribeira and try one of Porto´s specials: the “tripas a moda do Porto” – connected with the history of the city, or “francesinha” hot sandwich with special sauce.

Day 5

 Have your hot breakfast in your charming hotel and then get ready to explore proto for half a day:

Porto City Tour – Half Day + Douro River Cruise

Highlights: Cathedral, São Bento Train Station (one of the most beautiful in the world), Historical City Centre – UNESCO World Heritage, Porto Wine Cellar.

 

Description: Guided tour through Porto, Capital of the North of Portugal and UNESCO World Heritage. Everything in this wonderful city makes this trip memorable, from the Cathedral to the Porto Wine Cellars. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit places filled with tradition and culture and you will be given important details about the streets and squares of its historical centre.

Day 6

Good morning Porto, how has it been so far? You must have been thrilled by the wonders of lisbon and partly Porto so far. Today you will be visiting the heart of Porto, the Douro River Vally. The highlights of the tour are : Douro Valley Landscapes – UNESCO World Heritage; “São Leonardo da Galafura” view point; Wine Estate – Visit and Wine Tasting; Panoramic Cruise in Pinhão. Description: This charming and unique region of the North of Portugal is defined by having been the first demarcated wine region in the world and having its landscapes classified as UNESCO World Heritage. Our Tour takes you to Galafura where we visit the “São Leonardo de Galafura” view point (lunch included) and Pinhão where we have a 1 hour cruise in the Douro River. We finish the day with a Port Wine tasting at a Wine Estate in the area. Inclusions: Guided tour, lunch, wine tasting, transfers and panoramic cruise

Day 7

Check out the Hotel, get your transfer and along with your tour guide start your journey to the heart of the Iberian Peninsula, the city Madrid, a modern city where the traditions and innovations meet each other. Head to the hotel from the airport, check in the hotel, take a rest and then meet your tour guide at the lobby of the hotel for a quick stroll around the hotel.

Day 8

Have a fantastic breakfast at the hotel and get ready to enjoy the modern city of Madrid in a full-day city tour. Your tour guide will take you to the most spectacular places in Madrid and you will see Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Espana with the Cervantes monument, the Parliament, Cibeles Fountain, Paseo de la Castellana and finally the high light of the tour will be a visit to Prado Museum where you can see the works by Goya, Ruben, El Greco, Titan and many more. 

Day 9

Today is the day when you get mingled with history and see yourself in it. Yes, today is the TOLEDO full-day tour. Surrounded by the loop of Tagus river, this granite-hilltop town with its ancient walls separates you from today and takes you back in time. Having your tour guide mesmerizing the stories of the people, the walls and the city, you feel yourself indulged in this enchanting city walking over the Moorish bridge to Synagogue, cathedral and the grand plaza. Sword making is the tradition in Toledo and you have the chance to see how the swords were made in the traditional steel workshop.

Day 10

After the breakfast, check out the hotel and head to the airport/trains station to get to Barcelona, the Spain's second largest city, a city full of joy and night life. Check in the hotel , take a rest and then meet your tour guide at the lobby to visit the hotel surroundings.

Day 11

After having your breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a half-a-day city tour of magnificent Barcelona. Visit Sagrada Familia, the masterpiece of Gaudi, whose construction is still running after so many years. Placa De Catalunya is one of the other major attractions of Barcelona they your tour guide will take you to and then have a wonderful panoramic view over the city from Montjuic Hill.

Day 12

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and then get ready for a day trip to Montserrat which is one of the highlights of the tour. Your tour guide will take you to one of the significantly beautiful Benedictine monk mountain retreat. Montserrat is a one hour drive from Barcelona. The religious history behind it and its natural beauty surroundings is simply breathtaking. You can see Black Madonna and if you are lucky, you can also see and listen to the world famous Montserrat Choir boys recitals.

Day 13
